Japanese Mobage Town company expands presence in American territory

DeNA picks up Gameview Studios

Social gaming outfit DeNA has acquired Gameview Studios in its entirety, in an ongoing effort to expand an American presence.

The Mobage Town operator’s move on Gameview comes in the wake of its other buy-outs in the US, including the full acquisition of IceBreaker, and substantial investment in OpenFeint creator Aurora Feint.

DeNA is an increasingly significant presence in the global social gaming sector, and expects to generate $1 billion in revenues in this financial year alone.
