Former Rovio director of advocacy to focus on building brand awareness of UK analytics firm in the US

EA, Konami and Sega veteran David Zemke joins DeltaDNA

David Zemke is to help UK analytics and marketing specialist DeltaDNA boost its presence in North America.

Zemke has joined the company as VP of business development, aiming to build awareness of the brand in the US, connect with local publishers and developers, and refine its existing San Francisco-based team.

Formerly director of advocacy at Angry Birds creator Rovio, Zemke boasts more than 20 years of experience working at publishers including EA, Konami, Sega, LucasArts and Glu.

He also held the position of director of business development at mobile giant DeNA, where he oversaw the monetisation strategies of games such as Transformers: Age of Extinction and Super Battle Tactics.

“David’s appointment is a major coup for DeltaDNA,” said the company’s CEO Mark Robinson.

“His experience in developing and marketing global mobile games businesses is unparalleled, which is why his decision to join DeltaDNA highlights the increasing emphasis major publishers now place on data analytics, to help inform the entire game development, marketing and monetisation journey.”
