Free-to-play Family Guy title heading to iOS, Android

A free-to-play Family Guy mobile game likely in the same vein as The Simpsons: Tapped Out has been announced for iOS and Android devices.

GameSpot reports the title will arrive in 2014 as a free download packing in-app purchases – microtransactions that will provide players the option to control the speed of their progression” through the game.

The untitled adventure simulation game will be published by Fox and developed by TinyCo.

Fox’s previous Family Guy effort, Return to the Multiverse, released last year on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
