Giggs, Van Persie and Kagawa unite for Thomas Cook iOS app

Zoombugs has released a new Manchester United themed app on the Apple App Store.

Called Manchester Untied Challenge by Thomas Cook, the game allows users to choose between three current United stars – aging Welsh winger Ryan Giggs, Dutch striker and former Gooner Robin Van Persie and Japanese international Shinji Kagawa.

It also includes two additional unlockable footballers – Man Utd legends Andy Andrew” Cole and Bryan Robson.

Players must successfully execute an array of skills and tricks across two different game modes.

It was really important to get the right balance of promotion and fun within the app,” Zoombugs’ director of design and development Geraint Bungay stated.

I believe we have offered the player a fantastic game with a good level of addictiveness. The biggest challenge was getting the characters right in the game, both it terms of controls and likeness. It will be great to see the fans reaction to the title.”
