12 games to be added to library following partnerships with Chinese and Korean studios

GREE adds Asia devs to social games roster

Social games company GREE has added 11 new Chinese and South Korean developers to its roster for its upcoming mobile-social platform, the company has announced.

Developers to release games include Hoolai, Beijing Astepgame, Haypi and Something Big Technology.

The deal covers 12 mobile games for iOS and Android such as Three Kingdoms TD – Fate of Wei, Haypi Kingdom and Rise of Olympia.

The titles are due to release on smartphone around the same time as GREE’s planned Q2 2012 launch for its mobile platform.

The Social games company recroded $1 billion profits last year, and currently has more than 190 million registered users.

Earlier this week, GREE announced that it was opening a new 41,000 square foot studio in the San Francisco China Basin.
