Japanese mobile giant joins forces with French mobile affiliate network

Gree joins forces with MobPartner

Social gaming and mobile outfit Gree has partnered with French mobile affiliate network MobPartner, with a view to offer games developers access to app discovery and user acquisition technologies.

The alliance will see Gree and MobPartner offer studios a number of new promotional tools and services, pulling in the French outfit’s mobile marketing experience and vast network of affiliates. Gree also expects the deal to expand its own mobile social gaming platform. Gree Platform provides developers with an integrated platform combining gaming and other applications with social networking features.

“We are excited about this partnership with Gree, as it brings an enormous opportunities within reach,” said Guillaume Alabert, co-founder of MobPartner. “After years of evangelism, the mobile user acquisition market has now reached critical mass, thanks to players such as Gree who are willing to invest aggressively in new fields. We also see this partnership as a confirmation of MobPartner’s expertise, and the reliability of our technology.”

Gree’s hope is that it’s new abilities as a result of the partnership will help developers with localised targeting of the optimal mobile media for given apps, resulting in cost-effective acquisition of users from both Grees global network and the wider mobile sector.
