Hudson to develop iPod Touch titles

Game Watch is reporting that Japanese developer Hudson has unveiled its new iPod Touch and iPhone-centred content portal, ‘Do the Hudson!’, as well as its plans release one new game on the service every week.

The site will feature casual games that can be played quickly and for free, with plans to feature premium content at a later date. Users will also be able to listen to classic music from Hudson’s back catalogue, read official blogs and customise the site’s appearance to their liking. The publisher also intends to feature video content on the portal in the future.

The portal launches in beta form tomorrow, and will feature three games at launch: ‘Megutte Pon!’, a tile flipping game featuring Bomberman; Where’s Wally-style game ‘Meijin wo Sagase!’ and ‘Dokka Kawatta? (e, mittsumo)’, a spot the difference variant.

iPhone and iPod Touch users can access the site by pointing their browsers towards http://touch.hudson.co.jp/
