Balloon 27 to act as developer and publisher for smartphone and tablet

Ignition co-founder opens new mobile indie studio

Ignition co-founder Ajay Chadha has opened a new mobile development and publishing studio.

Called Balloon 27, the studio is already set to launch its first game, motorcycle trick jumping title Hill Bill on iOS and Android next month. Further in-development games are also set to be released by the end of the year.

“We are proud to announce the formation of indie development and publishing outfit, B27,” said Chadha.

“Our first release, ‘Hill Bill’ is inspired by Evel Knievel and the simple, yet intuitive, principles of game design. I believe users will be quickly captivated by our striking visuals and intuitive gameplay.”

Chadha previously founded game publisher Ignition Entertainment in 2002, eventually leaving the company in 2010.
