Match-three game garners seven million downloads to date

Mobile hit Best Fiends attracts 1m daily active users

More than one million daily active users are playing new Finnish studio Seriously’s debut mobile game Best Fiends.

The free-to-play match-three title was released in October and has since been downloaded over seven million times. Each day players are said to rack up more than 400,000 hours of gameplay.

The game has now been made available on the Amazon Appstore for Android. A second title in the planned Best Fiends trilogy is expected to be released this year.

Seriously was founded in 2013 by former Rovio execs Petri Jarvilehto and Andrew Stalbow. Since then, the studio has gone on to raise $10m in funding for Best Fiends, which it hopes to turn into a franchise.
