PC strategy specialist announces two titles for mobile platforms

Paradox Interactive moves into mobile development

Paradox Interactive is to move into mobile game development with the announcement of two new titles.

Both the Hearts of Iron and Majesty franchises, which Paradox has worked on previously, are to receive mobile versions, which will playable across all platforms including iPhone.

“We decided to enter the mobile space after considering feedback from our fanbase,” said Fredrik Wester, executive vice president of Paradox Interactive.

“With the release of these titles on the mobile platform, our fans will be able to enjoy Hearts of Iron and Majesty on the go. We look forward to developing more of our titles for the mobile platform, so our fans can play Paradox games wherever they are.”

Paradox, which is also continuing its work on several PC titles including the most recent entries to the Hearts of Iron and Majesty series, is aiming for a 2009 release date for both mobile projects.
