State of Decay studio Undead Labs reveals multiplayer RPG for mobile

State of Decay developer Undead Labs has unveiled its next project, Moonrise – a mobile multiplayer RPG featuring Pokmon-like creatures.

A departure from Undead’s previous release, the game has players assuming the role of a Warden in a world where peaceful creatures called Solari have been suddenly transformed into dangerous beasts known as Lunari. Defeating a Lunari turns the creature back into its original Solari form and the creature then joins your team as an ally.

It also packs a multiplayer mode where players can take their respective Solari squads into battle against one another.

Moonrise is scheduled for a beta release this fall on iPhone, iPad and Android devices. An official release is currently planned for early 2015.”
