The Longest Journey Remastered out now for iOS devices

A mobile edition of 1999 Windows PC release The Longest Journey is now available on iOS devices.

The Apple App Store lists The Longest Journey: Remastered for $8.99 – with the game requiring iOS 7.0 or later, and compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch hardware. The page also notes the app is optimized for iPhone 5, 6 and 6 Plus.

The new version includes a new intro and outro narrative, redesigned controls for mobile platform and a dynamic help system; as well as all 150 locations from the original PC release.

Series creator Ragnar Tornquist is currently developing The Longest Journey’s sequel, launching ongoing episodic adventure game Dreamfall Chapters for PC, Mac and Linux in October of this year. Tornquist has confirmed a PS4 release for the title, and has hinted at Xbox One plans as well.
