US mobile dev opens London studio

US mobile games studio Babaroga has opened a new London office, it has announced.

“We decided to establish our second studio in London because we find that it enables us to easily reach the UK and European markets without a difficult language barrier,” said Babaroga exec David Bachowski to gamesindustry.biz.

He said that he believes London has a large and diverse business hub and feels that the city holds many networking opportunities.

He added: "The UK is home to a number of tremendously talented developers. We are looking for world-class engineers and artists that can take their skills and apply them to bleeding edge mobile content.

"I feel that the UK holds those world-class developers."

Babaroga was founded in 2001 in Chicago, and have developed mobile games such as Zombies!!!, Spore Origins and MMA.
