New Assassin’s Creed novel due this Christmas

Assassin’s Creed: Forsaken, the latest novel based on Ubisoft’s flagship action series, will be released this December.

It will once again be written by Oliver Bowden, the pen name for "an acclaimed novelist and historian who currently lives in Paris", according to CVG.

Forsaken will expand on the story of Assassin’s Creed III and its protagonist Connor, revealing how he became a killer.

This will be the fifth book in the series, following Renaissance (based on Assassin’s Creed II), The Secret Crusade (based on the first game), Brotherhood and Revelations (based on their namesakes).

Last month, Ubisoft told MCV these novels have shifted more than 1m copies worldwide to date.
