New DS bundles confirmed for US

North American games retail will this Friday see the arrival of two brand new themed DS bundles – one based on The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and the other on new software release Nintendogs: Best Friends.

The former machine will be gold in colour and carry the in-game Triforce logo, whilst the canine-themed machine will come in metallic rose and boast a dog paw print.

"Nintendo DS remains the portable system of choice for gamers," Nintendo of America’s senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications George Harrison stated. "Our new bundles will be collector’s items for current gamers while offering an attractive way for people new to video games to play with style."
