New DSI XL colours UK bound

Nintendo has revealed that it is to launch three new colour variants of the DSI XL in the UK.

On the way are yellow, green and blue versions of the XL-sized handheld, all of which will be launched on October 8th. These join the already available wine red and dark brown versions, and will likely attract the attentions of a younger audience than the existing SKUs.

Like the current machines they will also come pre-loaded with the DSi Web Browser and copies of Dictionary 6-in-1 and A Little Bit of Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training: Arts Edition.

The latest iterations of the Nintendo DSi XL will offer the same functionality as the wine red and dark brown consoles; featuring the same glossy sheen on top, matt finish on the underside that provides extra grip, bigger screens and wider viewing angle,” a Nintendo statement reads.
