New Official Nintendo team in place for Wii U launch

Future has recruited a new editorial team for its Official Nintendo Magazine.

And the new recruits are currently redesigning the mag and website to coincide with the launch of Wii U.

Former ONM editor Chandra Nair has returned to Future Publishing in the role of editor-in-chief for the firm’s Nintendo projects.

Nintendo Gamer’s associate editor Matthew Castle has assumed the same associate editor role at Official Nintendo, while Jo Skrebels has been appointed as the magazine’s staff writer.

I am delighted the new editorial team has been finalised and am excited to see the brand evolve and develop in the run-up to Wii U launch," said Lee Nutter, the publisher of Official Nintendo Magazine.

"There’s a lot more to come from the ONM brand over the next 12 months and we have a great team in place to deliver it.”

I am thrilled to have been appointed as Editor-in-Chief of Nintendo Projects and am excited to lead the team in taking the brand forward, in particular introducing the Wii U elements to the magazine itself. It is a really exciting time for Nintendo and I am proud we will be right in the midst of it all,” says Nair.
