New recruiter for games industry

Recruitment agency Austin Banks has branched out into the games industry.

The Doncaster-based firm is currently restructuring its business, and a focus on video games will be crucial to the company’s future.

We are moving away from local, support-level recruitment and into national, executive-level recruitment within clearly defined niches – the first one being games,” MD James Squires told MCV.

Our opportunity to move forward came when we met Mick Hobson, an experienced games industry recruiter. His vast network of contacts and flawless knowledge of the sector gave us the confidence to proceed.

After only a few weeks, we are already handling sales and marketing vacancies for some of the top publishing names in the gaming sector.”
