Next Bungie project on PS3?

Bungie has refused to confirm or deny that its next mystery game project could be heading to PS3.

The developer was acquired by Microsoft in 2000 and has since gone on to make a name itself with the highly lucrative Halo series.

However, from the moment Bungie announced its independence from Microsoft way back in 2007 the industry has been waiting for it to announce it’s first non-Xbox 360 title since 2001’s Oni.

When asked about the possibility of a future project being released on PS3, community boss Brian Jarrard told CVG: I think our whole future’s kind of undefined right now and it’s definitely not something we’re going to be comfortable getting into too much detail about.

We’ve had another team internally for quite a while now – they’ve been working on the genesis of what will become our next big thing.

It’s a little premature to get into specifics, but you know I think we have a really good mix of old blood and new blood in the studio.”
