NINTENDO: Five Ubisoft games set for Wii U

Ubisoft has outlined its game line-up for Nintendo’s freshly announced Wii U console and controller system.

This consists of an Assassin’s Creed title, a new Rabbids game and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online.

In a statement the publisher said it will also be working on two new brands including a revolutionary FPS for the hardcore audience”, exclusively for Wii U, and a sports game for the whole family”.

Ubisoft’s CEO Yves Guillemot said: Nintendo is an industry reference for game design and accessibility. We are very honoured to be a strong part of this new chapter of video game industry.

This new console is an amazing new source of inspiration for our developers. With the combination of technologies brought together by this console, our creative teams will be able to take the Ubisoft vision of developing rich, immersive and innovative gaming experiences for all audiences even further.”

Ghost Recon Online will be playable at this year’s E3 on the show floor.
