Nintendo hosting pop-up shop at MCM Comic Con

MCM Comic Con has been named as the host of Nintendo’s first ever pop-up shop.

Stocked with Official Nintendo Store exclusives, fans will be able to get their hands on lucrative items including figurines from The Legend of Zelda, Metroid and Super Mario series.

The store will also offer games, accessories and console bundles, including the upcoming Mario Kart 8 Wii U bundle, which fans can pre-order at the store.

As for the show itself, Mario Kart 8 tournaments will be staged across the weekend as players compete for the crown of best racer.

Comic Con London guests will be amongst the first gamers in the UK to take Mario Kart 8 for a spin – one week ahead of its official release in the UK.

Meanwhile, those who pre-order a copy of the Wii U racer at the event will receive a replica L cup trophy, which featured in Mario Kart 8.

The MCM London Comic Con takes place from Friday, May 23rd until Sunday, May 25th at EXCEL London.
