NINTENDO: Pokémon X and Y dated

The first 3DS outing for the Pokmon series will arrive on October 12th.

Handheld duo Pokmon X and Y opened Nintendo’s E3 edition of Nintendo Direct, with new footages showing off the games’ additional features.

Chief among these is the addition of the new Fairy type, which is strong against Dragon Pokmon.

The games will also feature a mini-game called Pokmon-amie, a Nintendogs-style pet simulator that lets players take care of their pocket monsters. 3DS owners will need to tend to their creatures, and mimic their movements to keep them happy.
