NINTENDO: Sing brings karaoke to Wii U

Nintendo announced a new music game under the working title of Sing.

The game makes players the host of a karaoke party, using the Wii U Gamepad to read the lyrics of the song they’re singing. The gamepad will occassionally throw out prompts to get the crowd going, such as ‘clap your hands’.

Interestingly, the game is the first to use the Wii U GamePad vertically.

Sing is being developed by FreeStyle Games.
