Nintendo storms German and Spanish charts

Wii and DS games make up eight of the current top ten selling titles in Germany, and seven in Spain, reports

For the second week running Pokemon Diamond and Pearl top both charts.

The top three titles in the Spanish charts are unchanged from the previous week, while Pro Evolution Soccer 6 on the PS2 moves up to number four, and Big Brain Academy, Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training, Wii Play and Pro Evolution Soccer 6 on the PSP all drop positions. Two new entries appear this week, with WWW Smakckdown! Vs Raw re-entering at number six and Ratatouille debuts at eight.

In Germany, the Dr Kawashima Brain Training titles finish up at third and fourth, while Mario Party 8 comes in at five, Animal Crossing: Wild World moves up to number six, and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix jumps up three places to seven. World of Warcraft and its expansion pack The Burning Crusade take the eighth and ninth positions, while The Settlers finishes at number ten.
