No Killzone beta this year

It had previously been suggested that a multiplayer beta for Sony’s next-gen FPS Killzone could make its way to the PlayStation Network before the end of the year, but SCEA has now stated that shooting fans will have to wait to next year to get their hands on the preview.

quotes Sony America’s Alex Armour as telling PSU magazine: "We are hoping to do a beta but I don’t think we’ll have anything ready before this year is over. It is something we are working on for next year.”

The PS3 version of Killzone made quite a splash at E3 earlier this year, though with no release date currently announced it is still a mystery when the game will finally make its long-awaited arrival.
