No PS3 price cut at Leipzig

Sony will not announce a price cut to its flagship PlayStation 3 games console at the Leipzig trade expo next week, the company has confirmed.

"It’s not going to happen. If you’re coming for that you’ll be disappointed," Sony Computer Entertainment spokesman Nick Caplin told Reuters.

SCEE president David Reeves had previously told MCV that the firm is planning blockbuster” surprises for the show.

The Leipzig games fair runs from Thursday, August 20th – 22nd.
