Now the PSPgo is hacked

After news of a serious security lapse on PS3 emerged earlier today, sources are now claiming that the PSPgo is the latest Sony device to succumb to hackers.

VG247 reports that hackers have successfully installed homebrew ISO loading software onto the machine from which games copied from UMD can be launched and played like any other title.

To prove the point, hackers have videoed Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep – which has only ever been released on UMD and never released digitally – running on the device.

A vibrant homebrew and piracy scene is already rife on other versions of Sony’s portable.
