One shall stand, one shall fall as Angry Birds Transformers rolls out

The rapid expansion of the Angry Birds universe is continuing with news of yet another new brand to the IP.

Having enjoyed success with IP crossovers such as Star Wars and Rio, Rovio has now tied up with Hasbro for an Angry Birds Transformers game.

The debut art offers a blend of the two covers for the animated Transformers: The Movie (as seen below) and carries representations of characters such as Autobot leader Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Starscream, Soundwave, a Megatron/Galvatron hybrid, Perceptor, the Exosuited Daniel and what appears to be either Grimlock or Springer and either Jazz or Blur.

There’s also the looming planet-devouring Unicron in the background and what appears to be the Egg (Matrix) of Leadership.
