Origin Games secures City Interactive distribution

Origin Games has announced that it will distribute games from City Interactive in India.

Origin has been on a bit of a roll over the last year. After years of focussing on its retail business, the Mumbai-based returned to distribution in 2011 by tying up with Konami. This year, soon after E3, Origin also tied up with 505 Games.

The first release from the Poland-based publisher in India will be Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2, which is being developed using CryEngine 3.

The game is scheduled for release on 9th October and will be priced at Rs 2,599 on Xbox 360 and PS3, and Rs 999 on PC.
