Sequels to Street Cricket Champions and Move Street Cricket are currently in development, Sony has confirmed.

Speaking to MCV, Sony Computer Entertainment India country manager Atindriya Bose revealed that Street Cricket 2 for PS2 and PSP is scheduled to release over the next few months, before Diwali.

Bose also said that a follow-up to this year’s motion control-driven Move Street Cricket for PS3 is in the works and should be ready for release early next year.

Both games are targeted primarily at the Indian audience and are being developed by Mumbai-based Trine Games, whose recent releases includes Bollywood tie-in Ra.One: The Game.
