Origin PC drops AMD GPUs from product line-up

American custom PC manufacturer Origin PC has announced that it is to cease offering AMD graphics cards in its machines.

Engadget reports that the retail says the decision is due to negative customer experiences” relating to the performance and stability of the components.

This decision was based on a combination of many factors including customer experiences, GPU performance/drivers/stability, and requests from our support staff,” an official statement confirmed.

Based on our 15+ years of experience building and selling award winning high-performance PCs, we strongly feel the best PC gaming experience is on Nvidia GPUs.”

The news comes after AMD last month revealed its next-generation graphics card line-up, led by the Titan-rivalling R9 290X.
