PayPal option now available on PS4 digital purchases

PS4 owners now have the ability to buy games and other products using their PayPal accounts, with Sony adding the payment option for all digital goods offered on the console.

Users can add money from their PayPal accounts to their PSN wallets directly from the console dashboard by highlighting the Add Funds” option on the checkout screen, selecting PayPal and transferring the amount desired.

Sony Entertainment Network accounts work for transferring via browser as well, as they’re tied to a user’s PSN wallet.

PayPal support was added to PS3 last November. The payment option on PS4 is currently available in the US, Canada, Mexico, Argentina and Chile. More info can be found on US Playstation’s support pages.
