PC version of Call of Duty: Ghosts will look better than PS4, Xbox One

The executive producer of Call of Duty: Ghosts has said that the PC version of the game will boast the strongest visuals.

That’s perhaps not surprising, of course – it’s not difficult to beat a next-gen beating gaming PC right now on a moderate budget – but with development currently focusing on PS4 and Xbox One it can’t be taken for granted that PC releases will be getting any extra love.

"PC is taking a different tack from previous games [in the series,]" Mark Rubin told Kotaku. "Now, PC has its own set of assets. It’s going to look better than any Call of Duty we’ve ever made on PC.

"They’re actually using an even higher version in many cases than the next-gen consoles, from a texture standpoint."

The PC versions of previous Infinity Ward COD titles have to date always used the same assets as the console releases, Rubin added.
