Alien pair vanish from Steam

Two of the more recent Alien games to be released on PC have been delisted from Valve’s Steam service.

Eurogamer reports that both Rebellion’s 2010 shooter Aliens vs Predator and Gearbox’s lamented 2013 outing Aliens: Colonial Marines are no longer available to download.

Lapsed licenses are unlikely to blame, particularly as Colonial Marines remains unavailable on both Xbox Live and PSN and Aliens vs Predator is still listed on XBL.

Two Aliens titles remains available on Steam – recent critical hit Alien: Isolation and the 2000 version of Aliens vs Predator.
