E3 2012: Dead Island Riptide announced

Deep Silver has announced Dead Island Riptide, a new entry following up on the publisher’s zombie horror title.

Though not appearing to be a true sequel to Dead Island, Riptide will be its own standalone affair.

The game is currently in development by Techland for consoles and PC, beyond that there’s not much else being shared at the moment.

Deep Silver has plans for an ‘extensive reveal’ sometime this summer.
