End of days for End of Nations?

Trion Worlds’ MOBA RTS End of Nations has been officially put on hold”.

Concerns were raised after the game’s website was taken offline and all mention of the PC title was removed from Trion’s website. Its Facebook page has not been updated since August.

"As we informed EON’s community last fall, internal development on End of Nations was put on hold in late 2013 while we evaluated potential paths forward for the title," a statement issued to Polygon read.

"We’re currently focusing the company’s energy and creativity on Rift, Defiance, Trove, ArcheAge and some new projects that we will be revealing soon."

The game was originally pencilled to enter beta in late 2012, at which time it was being developed by Petroglyph, but was postponed indefinitely before the end of that year and handed over to Trion.

Last year Trion confirmed a significant overhaul, branding the title as "the world’s first MOBA RTS".
