Raiden IV: Overkill slated for Western release on PS3

Moss-developed Japanese shmup Raiden IV is getting a digital release on PS3 in the West.

The game was previously published by UFO Interactive on Xbox 360 in 2009 (and was released on XBLA by Moss itself) but now the company is bringing a revamped ‘Overkill’ version – complete with new power ups and enemy patterns – to Sony’s machine.

Raiden IV first debuted in arcades in 2007.

UFO Interactive hasn’t yet confirmed if the game will be released in the West outside of North America.
