Gas Powered Games joins PCGA

Washington-based developer Gas Powered Games is the newest studio to join the PC Gaming Alliance.

The developer is currently creating Supreme Commander 2 in partnership with the western-facing mega-publisher Square Enix.



“I’ve spent most of my career fully immersed in the world of PC gaming,” said Gas Powered Games CEO Chris Taylor.

“It’s where many of the world’s biggest gaming franchises were born and where much of the industry’s innovation continues to this day."

Gas Powered Games joins the likes of Microsoft, Epic, Capcom and Nvidia on the PCGA member list. 



The PC Gaming Alliance was formed to promote the health of the computer games industry in the face of common concerns that the sector is becoming marginalised.

“By joining the PCGA, Gas Powered Games hopes to make contributions that keep PC gaming at the forefront of the industry, help it to overcome its challenges, and continue to fulfil its amazing potential,” added Taylor.

Along with the arrival of Gas Powered Games, the PCGA had announced seven other new members – BFG Technologies, Bigfoot Networks, Flextronics, GameStop, GameTap, Howie’s Game Shack and InstantAction.
