Limited Edition red 360 confirmed

Microsoft has confirmed the ongoing rumours that it is to launch a new red Xbox 360 console as part of a Limited Edition Resident Evil 5 console bundle alongside the release of Capcom’s game on March 13th.

The pack includes a red console and wireless controller, as well as a 120GB hard drive, black headset, a copy of the game and an exclusive downloadable Xbox 360 dashboard theme.

It has also been confirmed that Capcom’s demo of Resident Evil 5 has been downloaded over four million times across Microsoft’s Xbox Live network and Sony’s PSN.

The price of the bundle has not yet been confirmed. Microsoft’s press release also suggests that the bundle will only be available from select retailers”, though the details of that are also unknown.
