Superhot aiming for PC this month

Greenlight and Kickstarter hit Superhot finally has a release date.

The time-bending first person shooter, in which time only progresses when the player is in motion, will be released on PC, Linux and Mac on February 25th. Surprisingly, the game is also getting a limited physical release on the same date courtesy of IMGN.pro

An Xbox One release is then scheduled to follow some time the following month.

"Thirty months in the making. Thousands of hours put into development and design. Tens of thousands of avid backers from all over the world. Millions playing the prototype and prerelease versions," developer Superhot Team said.

"We took our sweet time. What started out as a small passion project ended up becoming a 2.5 year adventure. Superhot has far outgrown our wildest expectations. It changed and evolved over time. It kept involving more and more people along the way. Tens of thousands of you believed in the project and supported us throughout the development. Millions played the prototype and prerelease versions, providing invaluable feedback."

Back in 2013 Superhot became the fastest game ever to be greenlit on Steam’s Greenlight service, doing so in just five days. The following year it went on to raise over $250k on Kickstarter. A further $250,000 in funding was then raised early last year.
