Plants vs Zombies 2 Far Future update lands tomorrow

Plants vs Zombies 2 will receive its first major update this week on iOS, publisher EA has announced.

A post on EA’s website unveils the new content packed in the Far Future update, including a new map, eight new plant types and 10 new zombie classes.

According to the post, the free-to-play title’s patch will land on Apple’s App Store tomorrow. No word on when its expected for the Android version.

PopCap previously stated PvZ 2 would likely make its way onto PC and console platforms (like the sequel’s predecessor) after the initial iOS and Android launches, but nothing official has been mentioned since late last year.
