Pokken Tournament dated; Hardware bundle gets special controller

Pokemon and Tekken crossover Pokken Tournament now has a release date in Japan.

The Wii U brawler will arrive on March 18th. One can hopefully presume that a Western release will follow not too long after that. It is currently scheduled simply for ‘spring’.

Also announced is a Wii U hardware bundle. As well as the game and console, it also includes an Amiibo card and, more excitingly, a special arcade controller designed to ape the arcade version. You can see a picture of it below. It’s made by Hori, no less.

Note that the game will also support the GamePad, Wii u Pro Controller and Wii Classic Controller for those without the custom hardware.
