Police raid PS3 hacker’s home

The war against PS3 piracy has reached a new intensity with news that the home of a German hacker has been raided by police.

Sony has confirmed to Kotaku that the raid on the property of hacker "graf_chokolo" did take place. it’s understood that police seized PCs and PS3s. A Sony representative was also present.

In less good news for Sony the suspect was able to upload all files related to his PS3 hacking to the internet prior to the removal of his machines, meaning that the wider coding community is now able to continue where he left off.
