Many 2.40 users successfully downloaded the update last week and have since been able to access features such as the in-game XMB and Trophy system. However, following widespread reports of rebooting problems following its installation, Sony removed the 2.40 update from its servers.

Sony has yet to make an official announcement regarding 2.41.
