Codemasters joins EIF 08

Codemasters CEO Rod Cousens will host a session celebrating the success and standing of the UK’s development industry at this year’s Edinburgh Interactive Festival.

The session, entitled Driving Success for UK Studios” will see Cousens discuss the recent progress and success of Codemasters, which saw the firm win at the MCV Industry Excellence Awards for ‘UK Development Team’ and at the 25th Golden Joysticks for ‘UK Developer of the Year.’ In addition, the CEO will also discuss the wider picture of the UK sector.

"We were delighted to be invited to speak at this year’s Edinburgh Interactive Festival and I look forward to sharing my thoughts and vision for the UK development industry in the session,” Cousens said. Over its six year history, Edinburgh Interactive has become one of the most important and now longest running festivals of the creative culture, development and progression of the games industry in the UK.”

The three-day event is set to kick off on Monday August 11th.
