PS3 getting more Resident Evil HD titles

The PlayStation 3 is to receive HD re-works of two Resident Evil light gun titles.

VG247 reports that Wii titles Umbrella Chronicles and Darkside Chronicles are to be bundled together in a PS3 SKU designed for the PlayStation Move accessory.

As well as improved graphics, the site speculates that both will also be retrofitted with stereoscopic 3D visuals.

The Resident Evil series has been doing big business on current consoles this year. A fully-HD version of smash hit Resident Evil 4 was released digitally on both Xbox 360 and PS3 last month, while re-releases of some of the original series were also released.
