PSN gets jump on bricks and mortar with Splinters Cell

The PlayStation Store starts selling the HD remakes of Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell tomorrow – over a month before they arrive on disc at retail.

Splinter Cell HD Trilogy is a current-gen remake of the first three stealth games – the original, plus Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory – with 3D and HD features.

It has long been awaited for retail, due on shelves on September 23rd for an RRP of 29.99.

However PS3 owners can get it tomorrow, August 10th, without having to pre-order or go into a shop.

The games will cost 23.99 for a digital bundle, or 7.99 each, with discounts for PS Plus owners.
