PSone classics surface on Android Market

Sony has released a collection of classic PSone titles on the Android Market.

The five games are all compatible with the Xperia Play, the official PlayStation Phone that launched today. The range includes Cool Boarders 2, Destruction Derby, Jumping Flash, MediEvil 2 and Syphon Filter, according to Joystiq.

These games are each priced at 3.99, which is the same as their price on PSN, and are platform-locked to the Xperia Play. Most are English-only releases, with exception of MediEvil 2 and Syphon Filter are available in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.

Interestingly, these titles appeared on the Android Market just one day after Google removed the PSone emultator, PSX4Droid.
