11 publishers sign up to EA Origin

Electronic Arts has brought several new third party partners onboard for its digital distribution service, Origin.

A total of 11 independent game publishers will be bringing their games to the platform, including Robot Entertainment, CD Projekt Red, Freebird Games, Recoil Games, Autumn Games, 1C Company, inXile Entertainment, Paradox Interactive, Core Learning and N3V Games.

EA also announced that Trion Worlds will be publishing its games on Origin, with its debut MMO Rift now available to download, according to Gamasutra.

No other games have been confirmed from these new partners, but it’s a safe bet that CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher series and Robot Entertainment’s Orcs Must Die are on their way.

Other third-party publishers already signed up for Origin include Warner Bros, THQ and Capcom.
