Alan Wake on track for spring

Microsoft’s Xbox 360 exclusive Alan Wake is still on track for a worldwide release this spring, developer Remedy Entertainment has reiterated.

The confirmation comes from CFO Mika Reini who was speaking in a live web chat, as spotted by Videogamer.

The exec went on to stress that the studio very much hopes the title will prove popular enough to warrant future instalments:

We’ve certainly planned things in a way that allows us to do more of Alan Wake in the future. We don’t want to close any doors.”

Reini also rubbished previous reports that in-game DLC would need to be purchased in order to view the game’s ending, claiming that Alan Wake will have a conclusive and satisfactory ending”.
